Valid ETIAS but refused entry

Is this possible? How can I be denied entry if I hold and absolute approved travel authorization ETIAS? Well, this is a fact that not too many people are aware of. In fact, you can be refused entry even though you hold a valid ETIAS, because ETIAS is not a visa.

ETIAS is just an authorization to board the plain that gets you to your Schengen destination, but once you get to the border, you will be checked and interviewed by the border guards. They will make sure you are eligible to enter that country under the ETIAS entry conditions. If the final decision is unfavorable then chances are you are put in the next plane back to your country.

If this undesirable situation takes place, it doesn´t mean you cannot travel ever again, it only means you have to go the Embassy of that country you are trying to travel to, which will be in your country of origin and apply for a VISA. You will go through an interview and if everything is ok, you will get your visa-sticker in your passport and you´re all set to go. The sticker-visa will show the time-frame you are allowed in the visiting country, and this time the border guards will not have anything to object.
