Want to work in Europe?

If you want to work in Europe and you come from a visa-exempt country, you may work for up to 90 days maximum, and of course holding your approved ETIAS before you start your trip. Is it that easy? yes it is this easy, but you have to make your you do no exceed the máximum stay of 90 days, so plan your return for a few days earlier than that, just to prevent any unexpected situation that could come up and put your permission of stay in jeopardy.

What happens if you need to stay longer than 90 days? In this case it is mandatory to request a work visa at the Embassy of the member State that you plan to visit. Bear in mind that the embassy appointments could take up to several months, depending on how busy they are, so it is very necessary to plan your trip very carefully before you pay for any trip service. Be ready to show documents and prove the reason of your trip to the country of your destination in the Schengen area, such as business contracts, clients, projects.. If it all makes sense you will get a work permit with no problem.

In any case, once you have entered your destination in the Schengen space with ETIAS – SEIAV, it is not allowed to stay longer than 90 days, not even should you apply for an extension of this period, when you are already in a Schengen country. So it is very important to plan correctly your trip so you can bring with you the apropriate permit, either ETIAS or a visa.

ETIAS – SEIAV will be soon announced to be starting in 2024. EES sytem, necessary for ETIAS,  is practicly already implemented in every Schengen country so we are ready to hear the news and start working!
